How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home:
- Use a Ruler: Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits you comfortably. Place the ruler across the inside of the ring and note the measurement in millimeters.
- String Method: Wrap a piece of string around your finger (at the knuckle where the ring will sit). Mark where the string overlaps, then measure the length with a ruler. Divide by 3.14 to get the diameter in mm.
- Paper Strip: Wrap a thin strip of paper around your finger and mark the overlap point. Measure the length and divide by 3.14 for diameter in mm.
- Best Time to Measure: Measure in the evening when your fingers are slightly warmer and slightly larger. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold.
- Comfort Fit: The ring should slide over your knuckle with slight resistance and sit snugly on your finger without being too tight.
